  • Chris Miltiades - President

    Work Experience: Chris was employed with Union Camp Corporation from 1983 to 1997. He spent three years in the Accounting Department and eleven years in the credit union as Supervisor of Financial Services. He became Manager/President of Workmen’s Circle Credit Union in 1997. Since then, the credit union has grown in assets from $4 million to over $93 million in 2020.

    Education: Chris graduated from Savannah Christian Preparatory School in 1978. He then attended Georgia Southern College, wherein 1983, he received a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. In 1987 he completed his MBA from Savannah State College and then graduated from The Southeastern Regional Credit Union School at the University of Georgia in 1991.

    Additional Certificates/Schools: Certified IRA Specialist with Ascensus IRA Services.

    Civic, Professional or Social Organizations: He currently serves as a board member of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Savannah. He is a former member of the Coastal Empire Credit Union Chapter. Chris has served as a volunteer firefighter for the Isle of Hope Volunteer Fire Department since 1992.

    Personal/Hobbies: Married Shari in 1988, and they have two children. Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, skeet shooting, and basketball.

  • Donna Smith - Executive Vice-President

    Work Experience: Employed in the credit union industry with Workmen’s Circle Credit Union since 1996. Previously employed in various accounting positions including income auditor and credit manager with the Hyatt Regency Savannah 1984–1996.

    Education: Graduate of Saint Vincent’s Academy. Attended Armstrong State College and Savannah Technical School. Received an Associate of Science Business Administration degree from Georgia State University.

    Additional Certificates/Schools: Certified IRA Specialist with Ascensus IRA Services. National Certified Compliance Officer Certificate through NAFCU.

    Civic, Professional or Social Organizations: Member of the Tybee Island Historical Society; Member of Xi Delta Chi chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority (has held all officer positions).

    Personal/Hobbies: Enjoys Bunco night with the girls, bowling and is an avid reader.

  • Beverly Street - Administrative Support

    Work Experience: Employed with The Savannah Bancorp, Inc. from 2006-2013. Employed with L’Oreal, USA (formerly Carson Products) in 1995 for 11 years. She is a highly motivated customer service representative with over 17 years of operation experience.

    Education: Graduated from Richard Arnold High School in 1978. Also, attended Savannah Vocational and Technical School in Accounting and Data Processing.

    Additional Education: Certificates in Fundamentals of Banking.

    Personal/Hobbies: Married in 1982, she has two children and four grandchildren. Family is very important to her, and she enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible.

  • Ron Cohen - Administrative Accountant

    Work Experience: Ron has worked primarily in the Manufacturing/Processing arenas starting with Campbell Soup Co. where he spent eleven years as the Supervisor-Cost Accounting from 1984-1995. He returned to Savannah in 1995 and held various accounting positions to include roles at Intercat-Savannah (now Johnson Matthey), Brasseler USA, two different stints at Lummus Corporation, Hargray Communications, and was Manager-Accounting for Chicken of the Sea in Lyons, GA.

    Education: Ron graduated from Georgia Southern University (formerly Georgia Southern College) in 1984 with a Bachelors in Business Administration majoring in Accounting.

    Civic, Professional or Social Organizations: Ron is a past President of the Exchange Club of Douglas, GA and previously was the Treasurer for Shalom School.

    Personal/Hobbies: Married since 1987 and has two daughters. Ron is proud to have become a first-time grandfather early in 2021. Ron enjoys both water and snow skiing, boating, and soaking in the sun on the beach while playing bocce ball.

  • Nikki Lee - Loan Supervisor

    Work Experience: Employed with Great Southern Federal bank from 1988-1991. Employed with TranSouth/Citigroup Corporation for 18 years; 14 years in the mortgage, auto & personal loan department and collections and recovery department. Four years in the auto division department of indirect lending.

    Education: Graduated Savannah High School. Attended South College.

    Additional Education: Certificates in Fundamentals of Banking, Certified in Fair Lending Compliance, Certified in ECOA Lending. Certificates in Life and A&H Insurance and GAP Insurance and a Certified IRA Specialist.

    Civic, Professional or Social Organizations: American Business Women’s Association, American Diabetes Association

    Personal/Hobbies: Loves cooking, photography, and spending time with family.

  • Sandy Lee - Loan Servicing Specialist

    Work Experience: Sandy was employed with Suntrust Bank from 1995-2003, then with South State Bank from 2003-2017.

    Education: Sandy graduated from Bryan County High School.

    Additional Certificates: Principles in Banking and AIB Management.

    Personal/Hobbies: Sandy is married and has three grown children, two grown step-children, and a number of grandchildren. She loves to craft, cook, take long walks on the beach, or just lay out at the pool.

  • Tonya King - Member Service Representative

    Work Experience: Over 27 years of banking experience between Suntrust Bank, Bank of America, and more recently, South State Bank, holding numerous positions from Teller to Teller Supervisor and Operations Supervisor.

    Education: Graduate of Tompkins High School. Attended Armstrong State College.

    Additional Certificates: Principles in Banking and AIB Management.

    Personal/Hobbies: Loves spending time with family. Enjoys cooking and watching college football while cheering for her favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs, of course.
